Beautiful pictures, modern chalet architecture

I was hoping to have more traditional examples of chalet architecture but this collection is certainly interesting. I think only about half of them are attractive, most are too sterile and devoid of charm without a hint of coziness like the cover picture. The mountains serve as a stunning backdrop to many of these uber-luxe remote villas. I was thinking Bavarian Village-style gingerbread-trimmed when I think of chalet style homes, but these are Euro-moderno.
