Though it is a thin book, it is quite powerful. The mindfulness techniques and affirmations are wonderful. It made me look at my thinking and realize that my procrastination was far more deeply rooted than I first imagined. Each page was an "aha!" moment for me. I expect to be reading this over and over in the future to help me with procrastination.

At one point or another in our lives we will all suffer from procrastination, some more than others. It is an incredibly frustrating issue to face as you can literally feel like your whole life in on hold as if no progression is being made. Fortunately there are methods on hand to help you overcome such a situation if you ever face it and this book details some of the most effective options available.

The whole guide focuses on the mental aspect of this problem. It soon became clear that this is the root cause so clearly it is the most important area to address. Through training your brain and educating yourself as to why you have the problem a powerful combination is made that can help any sufferer overcome procrastination.

I really appreciated the layout and writing style of the book, it made a potentially overwhelming subject feel much more manageable which only made me more determined and focused to tackle this issue head on. I have now read the book and begun to implement the advice given, positive changes are beginning to become significant so I’m really impressed. Thanks to the author I can look to the future with a mixture of optimism and excitement, for that reason alone I wholeheartedly recommend this book.

Always being on the lookout for new knowledge, I sometimes find myself picking up guide book. This was one such time and I was very impressed with it. Braynt presented the information in a clear way that was both easy to read and enjoyable. Having battled with procrastination as an issue (especially when I was a kid in high school) I picked up some of these and used to great effect. Reading this though, I was able to expand my knowledge on certain areas and I'm eager to put forth this advice to improve my life.

I highly recommend this to anyone, even if you're really good about getting things done on time. You never know if you might learn something new.

Like it says in my title, the author really got to the heart of what procrastination is, and then how to constructively solve the problem and eliminate what was holding you back. I've always been the one to leave projects half-done, and finishing anything felt like pulling teeth, so when I read this book, a lot of the things hit home. Fear of failure, fear of success, stress, and much more, he decoded everything to help me understand what was at the ROOT of my sluggishness. His mindfulness technique helped me gain objective perspective, and the affirmations he laid out to help retrain my brain were awesome. Not sure what these other low-stars are babbling about, but this book helped me.

I found this to be a useful resource for my battle against procrastination. I like the approach that the Stephen Bryant takes of tackling the subject by looking inwards. I never really could pin point the roots of where my procrastination came from, but this book was able to help me identify that. By knowing that and using the mind tricks described, I've been able to be very mindful of when it occurs and to refocus my attention to more productive goals. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who is interested in working on their procrastination problem and wants to be productive towards their goals.
