This book is ideal for anyone who would like an easy to read, yet comprehensive introduction to all the critical aspects of Human Resource Management. Alternatively this would also make a good reference book for HR professionals who want a quick reminder of the key elements in a subject area.
The chapters provide enough detail and information on all the important elements of HRM without being overwhelming. The "Activities" and "Checklist" areas at the end of each chapter are also very helpful. In addition the "Problem areas" contained in each chapter (in the form of question and answers) clearly illustrate that this is a book written by a practicing HR professional who knows where complex issues often arise and are also incredibly useful. I would definitely recommend this book.
