A must!,

First of all, I have to admit Nogueira is my favourite UFC fighter. However, I found this book very interesting on a technical point of view. He describes how to fight from the guard position in a MMA context (eg with strikes). The techniques are all tried and tested (if you know him, you will see him using them in his fights) but, to be fair, they are not accessible for a beginner. However, I strongly recommend this book to anyone serious about his MMA training, even if you need about one year jiujitsu experience to really appreciate the techniques.

An excellent treatise,

This is a very good book about today's MMA, from the bjj point of view. The photographs are excellent and generally clear. The overview is well presented in a logical way and the techniques are truly those of a champion like nogueira: simple but lethal. Progression should have been more logic and progressive, but a great work.
