Masterclass: Anal Sex
Top marks to the Erotic Print Society for publishing this excellent title! The market has long been bereft of a frank and open book that not only covers, but celebrates this topic in a couple friendly manner. Books that discuss anal sex are nothing new, but until recently they have largely been written from the perspective of gay men. That isn't a lifestyle condemnation in any way, but thankfully, publishers are now starting to wake up to the fact that anal sex is a popular and accepted area of interest to a great many couples, not to mention straight men too - both on the giving and sometimes receiving end too, as this book reveals! Fun is there to be had by everyone, and this book gives the help you need to enjoy it.
The main thing I admire about Charlotte Webbs' book is her obvious enthusiasm for the subject. Many other sex manuals contain text extolling the virtues of open and carefree sex, yet are illustrated with useless, coy, apologetic little line drawings as if to say that actually, sex is not quite acceptable, despite the text. Here, quite the opposite is true! Charlottes enthusiastic text is accompanied by glorious colour photographs and art that pull no punches whatsoever. You can actually see pictures of everything covered happening for real and in full and clear detail, and that's a first. Well done!
The book itself is an A5 sized hardback in a landscape format with 125 high quality pages plus an art index and a very useful resources list. Chapters are (in order) Forward and Introduction, Anatomy, Health and Safety, Preparation, Anal Masturbation, Anal Sex, Positions, Toys and Lubricants, Analingus, Anal Fisting, Gender and Roleplay, Conclusion, Art Index and Resources.
Whether you are already an experienced devotee, a beginner, or are merely curious, I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone - it gives you the facts you need and dispels any myths. It's interesting to follow the authors own journey from complete novice to devotee, via her intimate research studies! Her conclusion is that with the right knowledge and a bit of patience it can in fact be one of the most fulfilling, exciting parts of your sexual repertoir!
So to summarise, this book deserves a place on your shelf next to your more general sex manual. It sells at a very low price too, for what you get. I was glad I ordered my copy, and you may be pleased with a purchase too. What have you got to lose?
