When Wolfson of Trevelyn is sent by William the Conqueror to capture and dispose of Tarian of Trent, little did he realise how much he would be attracted to her. Although he admires the Lady for her courage, quick mind and her skill with a sword and bow, he cannot be swayed from his mission.
Tarian, who was captured by her uncle by marriage is near deaths door when the handsome knight arrives, and is saved from the dungeon by him. She realises that Wolfson is a hard man and will not be swayed easily from William's command. She must use all of her strength and courage to persaude him from his course.
Both are unprepared for the passion they feel for each other and both have hard decisions to make. Wolfson find it increasingly hard to ignore his feelings for her. Will he defy his king for Tarian or will he destroy the only woman he has ever felt anything for?
This is a great book and I really enjoyed it. I have now read both books of the blood sword legacy and I have to say I liked this one even better than the first. The idea of a warrior princess giving the Blood brothers something to think about was intriguing. They certainly met their match with her not just with her skill but also with her mind. The next book will soon be available and I will certainly be buying it.
