Product Description

Beloved's adventure with her friends continues as they journey through the snow-covered Perilous Pass toward the Formidable Mountain Range. Fraught with dangers and assaults from satan and his demons, they are always under the invisible, but ever-watchful eye of Master Potter. Aided by Holy Spirit and the angelic hosts mobilized by their prayers, they press on to the Mountain of Fire. Beloved and her friends have to face the devastating moral failure of a close friend, which brings tragedy to the whole group. In the midst of the painful high fires Beloved is also confronted by the death of a loved one as she struggles with why Master Potter let it happen. As the fire in the mountain increases, Beloved travels into the glory realm on a crystal chariot with her angelic escort, Guardian of the Glory. Together, they visit such wondrous places as the War Room, the Heavenly Library and a warehouse called Miracles Unlimited. Throughout these personal losses and disappointments Beloved's heart is transformed by Master Potter's passionate love for her as she is painstakingly brought into her destiny as a vessel of honor and discovers the sovereignty of God.

Really glad to get this one after reading book 1 The Master Potter. Pity I could only get it on Kindle not as paperback as I really prefer to read a paper back than from a computer, but better than not getting it at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Penetrating understanding 27 Nov 2011
This book, whilst fiction, penetrates the persevering christian journey.Pain and joy; pain and joy with such observation, understanding and discernment. Be prepared to read in a couple of sittings, but absorption will continue to reverberate for weeks ( months and years)to come. Jill Austin leave a legacy like refined gold.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book will change your life! 4 April 2008

The mountain of fire is book 2 of the Master Potter Series. Both books are amazing and will change the way you look at things spiritually. Jill Austin does an amazing job of bringing the supernatural to life. The book is somewhat of a modern version of Hinds Feet for High Places.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great finish to a great story! 9 Nov 2011

This is the 2nd time I've read this series of two books. I loved them both! There's a little bit of everybody that you know in these stories. This is an allegorical tale that follows a group of those who are broken and abused in one way or another. Mercifully, God comes to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives. He loves, redeems, and gives them new life and hope for their futures.

In this, the second book, it continues the journey they all began, as they now have to learn that even though their lives have been made new and whole again, this world will still offer them challenges and trials. In the midst of those trials, they find they have choices to make as to whether or not they will continue to walk in their new found freedom in Jesus Christ.

5.0 out of 5 stars this is a must read,,, 30 Sep 2010

I could feel as I read this book Holy Spirit touching some things in my heart. I could really get into and relate to many things in this book as I have been on a journey with the Lord as well. The only bummer about the book is I feel there should be a third book, but I guess I'll have to wait till I get to heaven and ask the author what happen to some of the other characters in the book!!!!
