In the aftermath of a battle Stephan de Varley searches for his Blood Brothers. When he overhears a conversation he finds his brothers have been taken captive by a Welsh Lord Rhiwallon. Injured and feverish he saves Arianrhod, a welsh princess, from near rape. When he wins the battle he kidnaps Arianrhod and holds her hostage in exchange for his brothers. As the journey progresses Stephan finds himself more and more attracted to Arianrhod but she is betrothed to another and way above him.
Arianrhod who is on the way to marry her betrothed Magnus a powerful Jarl, when his Nephew tries to rape her. She is shocked by Stephans injuries when he appears from the from the bushes. But she is angry and frightened when he saves her life then kidnaps her.
Both feel attracted to each other but know it is wrong as she is betrothed to another. As Stephan steals kisses and tries to seduce Arianrhod,they both become more and more attracted to each other. What will happen when they reach their destination and Magnus finds out. will they be able to abandon one another to their destinies?
I love the Blood Brothers series the books follow on but each story is a different the last one. The characters are great and Stephan is usual hard man with no morals and very much in charge. Arianrhod is sweet but she dosen't let Stephan have all his own way. Up to now the series has been great and well worth reading. Well done Karin.

I never usually write reviews except for Karin Tabkes books.This is the third book of the blood swords legacy and like the first two absolutely brilliant! This one is about Stefan de Valrey and the welsh princess Arian.Stefan kidnaps Arian to hold hostage to exchange for the freedom of his blood brothers in captivity.The fighting and love scenes between the two along their journey are really cant put me down exciting! For me Karins blood brothers are the best historical romances for me in many years. Cant wait for the next one. Hurry up Karin!

I LOVED this book. I'd been searching for medieval romance and came across Karin Tabke - these books are a keeper.
This is the third book which comes after MASTER OF SURRENDER and MASTER OF TOHRMENT. MASTER OF CRAVING is as good as the first two and Tabke does not disappoint.
The story is filled with a fiery heroine and a tough, fierce norman hero. Their relationship is well written and believable and the passion between them sizzles off the pages! Stephan is a very likeable character and we get to see some of the other blood swords as well.
A MUST read for the fans of this series, fans of Karin Tabke and fans of MEDIEVAL ROMANCE. This novel lives up to its name.

Karin Tabke just gets better and better!
I have absolutely loved the Blood Swords novels. This is the third and undoubtedly the best so far. I've read many Medieval Romance novels, some are good, some not so good. Read more

Really enjoyed these set of books. Each different but all center around the blood brothers. Really wish the author continued with the others as they need their own stories telling. Read more
