OK, on the packaging and advert, rather than the tin!
This is a superb, and hefty tin that makes decently size mini appetisers and cakes.
I've just made 72 mini muffins, and my only complaint is that I could have done with 3 trays, rather than baking them in 3 separate batches.
The cake mixture I used would normally fill 18 standard size muffin tins or a two-layer 8"/20cm cake, and I could have easily made 84 mini muffins using of this tin (but chose to make some standard ones with my remaining mix).
Each mould takes about a teaspoon of mixture (with average rising agent). I would advocate picking a slightly dense recipe, reducing the temperature by 10-20 degrees. My muffins cooked perfectly in 13 mins at 160 degrees.
I did spray the tin using
Wilton Bake Easy Non Stick Spray for ease, but you could just as easily use a little oil (Fry LightSunflower Oil Spray is good) and a light dusting of flour, though after a few uses I think this will need very little preparation.
It washes up really well, with nothing more required than hot water and a brush or sponge, so although it may be dishwasher proof, I'm opting to hand wash it to prolong the non-stick coating.
