I bought this item together with a Tefal 28cm stir fry pan but the lid is not a good fit. They were advertised as being suitable for each other but the lid is slightly too large for the pan.

I needed a lid for a large cast iron frying pan and went to purchase the correct one for it. Not only was it very expensive it seemed like it was never going to be delivered. I cancelled the order and had to look around for another one, when I saw this Master Class one at 28cm. the price was very cheap compared to what I was going to pay in the first place but it was delivered very quickly. As a lid it is very good my only concern was the stainless steel rim was straight when what I required was one that had a angle shape to fit in the pan. Fortunately with careful tweaking I managed to bend part of the rim inward so it fits the pan. Not the best thing to do as it could have broken very easily. The lid now fits the pan in one postion only but at this price I am very pleased with the quality of the item it is a shame you cannot buy one that the rim tapers inward unless you buy one made for the pan.

...its perfect that you can order a saucepan lid when your old one is broken..- it looks like the old one and now we can enjoy cooking with thise saucepan again

Does what is says on the tin....
Item as described. Decent quality and a good fit. Seems sturdy but handle comes loose - have to keep tightening it up.
