This lid is 25.5cm, not 26cm.
Half a centimetre might not sound like a lot, but try putting a 1.5cm peg in a 1.0cm hole and the half a centimetre difference will be enough to prevent it ever going in.
I will keep it, it is "satisfactory", as for the price it will do, and it seems well made.
Just a pity it is not actually the size it claims, as if it was it would be "perfect."
(The lids that came with my 24cm pots are 23.8cm, that extra 3mm makes all the difference, they fit perfectly.)

A 26cm pan is just the right size for creating pasta sauces or chili. A glass lid allows you to check on progress. My previous lid broke, and as there were none to be found in the shops, this one looked a very good buy for the money. After several weeks of use, I have so far not been disappointed. It fits like a glove, and the handle never gets hot. What more can you ask of a lid?

Excellent value for money. I cannot find just lids on their own in the the shops. Perhaps I do not look far enough!. This was easy & delivered so quick my sausages were nearly cooked when it arrived. Good value & service. Cannot reccomemd enough!!!

glasspot lid
The glass lid is unfortunately a fraction of a centimetre too big but I am still using it. It is better than the frying pan lid that I was using.
