This spoon 'is' heat Resistant! meaning it does not melt in the pan, but it does melt if you happen to leave it perched on the rim of the pan.
If you want this spoon to last get into the habit of stirring then then place the spoon somewhere cool.
There is a small heat resistant metal guard on the handle but it's too small for use on larger pans.

They come with easy-grip handles, hanging hooks, and rigid nylon bodies with stylish silver-coloured plastic trim, and are dishwasher safe.
