When it comes to re-filling it it's a nightmare. I've tried 3 different types of canisters (and 5 different types of connectors) and I can't get any gas into it. It leaks everywhere and when it doesn't leak you can hear it hissing however you could be sat there for 15 minutes like I have and it turns out none has gone in at all. Very disappointed so am buying a more expensive type.

Went to use my masterclass blowtorch today, had to refill it,which i found strange as i filled it the last time i used it.
when i lit it, it burst into flames all over it, and burnt my hand.Do not buy this dangerous product

Bought this for my husband as this was a recommend from Delia Smith's wrbsite. Not knowing whether it would be any better than the others on offer, I thought well, if Delia recommends it then it must be good. And she didnt disappoint. My husband did the best creme brule he's ever done. The flame was really hot and fierce but it could be directed to create the best caremelisation we've ever achieved.
    Very recommended.

Do not be fooled with initial impressions. This tool works well for a while but once the valve below the silver on/off switch begins to leak gas it can create a fire-ball and be lethal. I later confirmed where the leak was by putting the head piece in water.
For health and safety reasons this product should be taken off the market.

Bought it 3 years ago. Suddenly started leaking butane from the handle. Exploded in flame. Buying a different model now.

I bought this along with the suggested butane gas lighter refill. Super simple to use, refilling was not a problem for me. Really easy to do. My only fault with this product is that it requires 2 hands to use it. I assumed it was triggered based on/off. This isn't the case. You need to turn the knob at the back first to release/stop the gas flow. The trigger only provides the ignition. To stop the flame you have to turn the knob to stop the flow of gas. Apart from that it's great.

This was disappointing after all the positive reviews. I can't get the useless piece of junk to refill, but I did manage to spray myself liberally and repeatedly with highly inflammable liquid gas. For your convenience you will find that completely inadequate instructions are included on the back of the packaging!!

Great if you want to go up in smoke!!!

The lock that prevents you from igniting the piezo element is annoying (it comes loose and stays in locked position)...
Worse thing is that the damned thing leaks... It was difficult to ignite and then it finally got there, the flame was huge! I would have to put it out again and try all over... I only took the trouble a few times... Now it's gone... And I'm happy without it...
