"Masonic Etiquette Today: A Modern Guide to Masonic Protocol and Practice" draws together a number of different topics covering Masonic conduct, so as to provide a comprehensive guide to Masonic behaviour inside and outside the Lodge. Topics covered would include the complexities of the issues inside the lodge of dress, regalia, voting and elections, precedence, seating and saluting, procedures, visitors, ritual quirks, music, behaviour (and difficulties) and administrative matters. Issues outside the Lodge addressed where Masons need guidance such as correspondence, ties and other apparel and openness would also be addressed. A Royal Arch section could also be included. This book would address the perennial need for Masons to have a straightforward and reliable guide to etiquette, written by a leading Mason.

This book should be an essential part of every Freemasons personal reference library. I am sure you have met a Brother who annoyingly professes to know everything Masonic! Well put him on the road to true enlightenment and buy him this book for Christmas to show him how things really should be done. The book is very well written and just about as informative as it gets.
There is always an 'however' - having paid for first class delivery it took ten days to arrive and on top of that the book was damaged! It was very badly wrapped using sub-standard packaging. In hindsight I would pay a few pounds more and buy it elsewhere.

Superb guidence for the Freemason.
this book explains in some depth the constitutions and etiquette of the UGLE, it is a must read for the new Freemason
21 years in the writing (experiential), it has an authoritative author with a wealth of subject knowledge
well written and cited well also.
