I have read some James Patterson books before but have not read all of them. I also have not read one in a couple of years but this one caught my eye. I'm glad it did. I truly enjoyed it and was always excited when I got a chance in the day to read some more. You knew there was a twist in the story but I wasn't sure what it would be and I was surprised. I definitely recommend this book.

I have just finished this book. I like Alex Cross as a character and the story line on his personal life was good. However to me I was never interested in guessing who the killer was. It wasn't very good. I've read two other books of this author ( A painted House and When the Wind Blows) and really enjoyed them. My advice to you if you want a book that keeps you gripped and guessing who the killer is, try Harlen Coben, in particular Gone for Good.

Having been a fan of James Patterson since I first read 'Along came a spider' I must say that 'Mary Mary' wasn't too bad.
It wasn't as good as his earlier books, and even though I am a big fan of his Alex Cross books, I do wonder how long he can keep writing about him. I found myself coming a little bit bored reading it. I will read his new one, but I think that if it is the same as this one, I may have to say goodbye to my decade long relationship with Alex Cross!!!!

Mind blower
This book is awesome. The killings are gore and twisted and the storyline is simply fantastic! Definitely a must-read alongside Roses Are Red.
