I have not read the book so can't compare but this must have been done a while back, the picture transfer to DVD is not very good. The stroyline had a lot of holes, the flow was fractured and the ending not well resolved. The acting was average despite the presence of Francesca Annis and Kristin Scott Thomas amongst other stars. I think it was one of the earlier productions of the MHC movie hence the average to poor quality of scripts and production. All the same it is watchable if you are an MHC fan.

Absolute rubbish. Sacrilege to Mary Higgins Clark. The book was an absorbing read, the movie story had nothing to do with the book. Contender films could redo this, their Scriptwriters and Directors have done a great job on the MHC films so far.Mary Higgins Clark - Weep No More My Lady [DVD] [2004]
