This was the Christmas present my son was really looking forward to. He loves it but my reservations are that you are mainly paying for the box and a few bits of cheap cardboard and plastic. Also the box is not easy to use as storage for the toy due to it's main purpose being a display box. Alot of parental help is required for younger kids and I just felt it was a bit of a let down. I have to say again though that my 6 year old son loves it.

My 6 year old daughter loved this, but she is the sort who will stick at things if she doesn't get it straight away. It is a good set but obviously requires some manual dexterity and practice, so probably won't do for a child who wants instant results.

this product was very disappointing because not everything needed for the tricks was supplied in the box, for example some of the tricks required an empty matchbox or a cotton reel. also the instruction booklet was very difficult to understand. kids want stuff they can do NOW, not after they have spent half an hour preparing elastic bands up sleeves, etc.

Poor quality rubbish
A great disappointment. Cheap, poor quality far east manufactured tat. I returned Marvins Box at an extra cost of £3-00. Read more

Family Magic
this was bought for my 5 year old grand daughter, but the whole family ended up playing with it all day, each of us learnt a magic trick which we show to everyone.
