Volume 3 ramps up the action! 14 Feb. 2011
By Ian - Published on
Format: Paperback
This third volume of the Uncanny X-Men reminds me a lot of the classic story "The Odyssey". The volume starts off with the X-Men being brainwashed into becoming a carnival attraction in Texas, and then doing battle with their arch-nemesis Magneto in Antarctica. After that, it's a journey into the Savage Land, then off to Japan to battle Moses Magnum. The story concludes in Canada, with the X-Men going toe to toe with Alpha Flight! This collection moves at breakneck speed, barely giving you time to catch your breath. Chris Claremont and John Byrne fire on all cylinders here, proving why they're one of the greatest duos in comics history! Another must-have!

This early adventure from the X-men isn't too bad. It's too see Wolverine as a much more mello character. And I like the comraderie between the characters.

Uncanny X Men... 21 May 2011
By Rene Swan - Published on
Format: Paperback
Vol.2 and Vol.2 truly dwarf this volume. There seems to be less action as usual in this volume but it dives into the storyline. It is worthy for any fan of Uncanny X Men, i dont give it a 5 but a 4 is where i rate this
