Well Marvel have finally got around to releasing the Marvel Encyclopedia Vol.4, devoted to everyone's favourite web head - Spiderman.

The book kicks off telling the reader about the success of Spiderman, in comics, TV and movies. Thankfully this is kept short (unlike the Hulk (Vol.3) one where it took up most of the book). What then follows is nearly a complete book on every character thats appeared/had something to do with Spiderman. Each minor one gets a paragraph (with pic/power chart) and the major ones get a couple of pages - which rocks. The art work shows the characters at their best and the bios are brillantly written.

As a big Spiderman (and Marvel) fan I am proud to own this book and its recommended to all Spidey fans - new and old. The only downside is that there is now picture of Ben Reilly's Scarletspider suit - every other suit gets a pic but not the Scarletspider one, oh well.

So inconclusions - Volume 4 of the Marvel Encyclopedia rocks (like Vol.1&2 did) and deserves to be owned by all fans.
