Earlier in the summer, I had an unfortunate accident and sustained a broken wrist, which has necessitated 2 different procedures. So, given that things have got quite complicated I thought it would be interesting to have a book such as this.

It is written for medical students, none the less, it is a useful book to have and I am finding it very interesting.

Being spiral bound makes it easy to use flat or fold back.

The 'pictures' in the book are a combination of actual medical scans, models of parts of the body such as you might see in a doctor's consulting room and dissections and partial dissections of cadavers.

There is a Preface, comprehensive Contents and Quick Reference Guids to Bones, Clinical/Diagnostic Scans & Soft Tissue Anatomy. At the end of the book there are Embryology Summaries.

It is a very interesting and useful book even for the non-medical student.

This book is fantastic to take into the dissection class, It has all the structures labelled up and no writing at all. This is great if you are just trying to identify different structures without having to trawl through the book. I found that its really difficult to keep books clean in the dissecting class so this book enables you to stay on one page while you can dissect the cadavar and keep the book clean in the process. For more in depth reading I would suggest Gosling.

I knew what was in the book as a fellow student had one, it helped me prepare for an exam in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology, and I got 89 and a half %, whoopee.
