Having thrown away 2 Salter scales either because they'd broken or because the display blanks after only a short time of non-use, these scales are just what I wanted - easy to use, accurate to 1g, you can weight straight into a food processor bowl or a saucepan, & have a long period of displaying weight before the display blanks out (useful if you're interrupted whilst cooking) & show a tare weight (you can zero the display after adding each item to your bowl). Extras I liked were that you're not just given options of metric or imperial, but lb & oz, just oz, kg & g or just g. They're also easy to clean, the display is easy to read & the scales small enough to store easily. I've had these for about a year now & haven't found a fault yet. Compact, neat, easily cleaned and stored. Well designed. Very accurate. Brilliant, best digital scales I have ever had. Although I have only owned them a few weeks I am very impressed so far.
