My new J.M. Executive Hand blender is much better than some of the previous reviews here led me to expect. It's reassuringly weighty, makes a reassuring gentle whirring in use and helps me produce reassuringly good results! Some people claim that on it's lowest setting , it's too powerful. Not so. If you do what the instructions say, and place the beaters in the dry mix before starting it, you won't have a mess. Same with eggs. I've been using my previous blender for 12 years and just hadn't realise how poor it was. You just get used to low standards don't you? This machine is brilliant. I like the larger beaters, the very accurate speed control and the good solid feel of it. And it's excellent good looks, just like its namesake! Just wish I'd bought it much much sooner!

I would highly recommend this mixer. The best I have had out of 7 in the past 45 years. Variable speeds fantastic, allows easy control of speed suitable for any ingredient used at the simple push of a button. It has as a decent weight & power to tackle many, many jobs & has almost made my large multi purpose mixer,( better not name it but it has a stand & bowl,) redundant. Used as directed - no splashes! Go on, be a devil, buy it. You won't regret it.

purchased this as a christmas present stylish, strong and does a good job more expensive than other similar products but worth the extra money delivery was very good as it was going to spain would recommend
