This review is from: A Martian Poet in Siberia (Paperback)
It takes time to get into this story; as the title might suggest it is a more literate approach to Sci. Fi. than many of the genre, and explores the techniques of style more than is common in such works. But it is worth the effort, stay with it and you may become absorbed, as I did - and I'm not a great fan of Sci. Fi. It very much emphasises the human dimensions of Sci. Fi. and everyday problems, both personal and technical, which are unlikely, as some writers would lead us to believe, to disappear in make-believe worlds of the future.
It's a refreshing novel, and of just the right length for a holiday read.
