Book Description

6 Oct 2008
Everything about Lemmie Ferguson's life is bright and shiny and sunny - her special way of looking at the world means she sees it in vivid, rainbow-hued technicolour. Lemmie's eighteen-year-old sister, the spontaneous, sparkly Rose Rouge, calls it marshmallow magic... But there's a dark spot in Lemmie's life, and with the return of her primary-school rival, Sian, even the old marshmallow magic doesn't seem to be working. Lemmie needs her special sister more than ever, but can she count on Rose when she needs her the most?

I really enjoyed reading this book. It's very funny and a bit adventurous. The book is all about Lemmie who's getting bullied at school and needs the help of her 18 year old sister Rose Rouge but Rose Rouge isn't anywhere to be found..read on!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Good Book!! 10 July 2011
By Jacks
Format:Hardcover
I read this book when I was younger and I couldn't put it down. For children, I would highly recommend it. Even though it was so long ago, it is a book I will never forget. Buy it soon, you will not regret it.

By Moi.
Format:Hardcover
Lemmie Ferguson has an eighteen year old sister, Rose Rouge. She is wonderful. When Lemmie is bullied at school, Rose Rouge teaches her marshmallow magic, which seems to work a little to stop the bullying get to her. Then Lemmie moves to a little town called Balgownie, far away from Edinburgh. Lemmie is happy in Balgownie, with her two best friends and a little house mouse who lives in her room. Well, she's happy until she sees her old enemy, Sian Ellis arrive in Balgownie. She needs Rose Rouge desperately, to confide in, to talk to. But where is she?
This book is excellent, and you MUST read it.
