5.0 out of 5 stars By far thes best filling knife 15 Feb 2014

Has no rival used in conjunction with a 6inch Marshalltown filling knife. I am a professional decorator and I simply cannot work without these two. Small and big repairs alike are a million times easier with these. There is nothing out there to compare them with. I know they were meant for tape & jointing, but that is just filling on a larger scale. With these you can even skim entire walls easily. 2 thin coats and youre done.

I have been using these for years and I don't understand why retailers don't stock them. Same with Cox caulk guns. I always have to order them off internet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid durable and comfortable 22 Jun 2007

This taping knife has a solid blade that holds up extremely well and gives you just the right amount of flexibility. The blade is stainless steel and the body is aluminum and they both resist corrosion extremely well. You can wash it and leave it after a day of taping and not a bit of rust appears on it. The edge was perfectly straight and held up very well. The handle has a comfortable rubber grip that eases working with it for extended periods.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality Product 10 May 2013

I ordered several Marshalltown stainless steel taping knives from Amazon. All except one arrived in great shape and the seller refunded my money on the one that was bent. That was a UPS error. It was packed well, but apparently a drop right on the corner put a slight bend in the blade. Other than that, this is a great tool. Nice rubberized handle is easier on the hands than the stiff, rigid plastic handles of some other products. The blades have just the right amount of flex, great taper and cut and are stain and rust free due to the use of quality stainless steel. Recommended for the picky handyman (like me) or the seasoned professional.
