A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Betty Neels is one of my favorite romance book writers so when I saw this book I had to buy it. The book has two stories by two different writers, Caroline Anderson and Betty Neels. Both are good but Betty is my favorite but with that said even though The Doctor's Girl was a good story I felt that the woman of the story, Loveday West wasted too much time over her silly infatuation with Dr. Andrew Ffordes snobbish, conniving, phoney baloney cousin Charles who was just using the plain looking Loveday and really didn't care about her feelings. There just wasn't enough interaction between Loveday and Andrew to find her suddenly realizing she loved him believable but despite that it was still an enjoyable read as is always the case with a story by Betty Neels. The other story is by Caroline Anderson. A Special Kind of Woman: When Single mother Cait Cooper sees her daughter off to University, she feels now's the time to do all the things she's wanted to do. Enter Dr. Owen Douglas, who sets about giving Cait more fun that she's ever had....Until their relationship puts her right back where she started and Cait doesn't know which way to turn.
