All twenty three episodes from classic sitcom married with childrens fourth year are presented here in one dvd box, spread across three discs.
Married with children is loved for having a more realistic view of family life than some. Al Bundy was seemingly destined for great things after scoring four touchdowns in a single game of football. But life didn't work out and he works for minimum wage selling ladies shoes to support his family, lazy grasping wife peg, bimbo daughter kelly and would be ladies man bud.
Full of sharp writing, strong character based comedy, and painfully real situations, it's a classic of it's kind.
Each episode runs approx twenty five minutes.
The theme tune - the song love and marriage - couldnt be put on the dvds due to rights issues so be aware that they have different opening music to what you may be used to from tv showings.
As with previous seasons this is the region one dvd converted straight over to region two thus the trailers for new movies and shows on it are a bit out of date.
The show does also see a cast change late on in the season when actor David Garrison, who plays next door neighbour Steve, decided to move on. He gets written out without being seen and with a quick word of explanation at the beginning of one episode. Actor Ted McGinley who would later replace him as Jefferson in later years of the show appears in this season in part two of the story it's a bundyful life, but he's playing a totally different character to the one he'd play later.
Dvd language tracks: English hungarian french german.
Subtitles: English Dutch French German Hungarian.
A very welcome release for some classic comedy. Here's hoping the remaining seasons will come to region two soon.
