Well worth buying 17 May 2011
Format:Paperback
I bought this book as I have recently set up my own therapy business. Having had little experience in marketing I felt I needed good simple realistic advice, this book has it all. Clear concise advice which you can adopt for your business. It has given me an insight and opened a up new ways of marketing, which go beyond just designing and costing adverts. It took away the fear of 'selling myself', as I am not a naturally outgoing person. This book tells you how you can go about marketing without being pushy, forceful or loud. Using your knowledge and enthusiasm for your therapy along with sheer, persistent hard work can bring in results. It has helped me to increase my communication skills and confidence in approaching people who can further my business and become future clients.

This book is a good read but what I found was that it didn't go into enough detail discussing the newer methods of attracting business.
By this I mean the social networking and online marketing.
However, I do understand that there is only so much the writer could include, so It at least points you in the right direction to go and find out more information yourself.
I found the section on copywriting for advertising the most helpful as this is something most people get wrong.
All in all, it is a useful book that points you in the right direction of running and marketing your own therapy business.

An excellent guide to marketing a complementary business.
Very helpful and easy to use, being clear and concise; yet detailed enough to give valid tips and ideas that you can revisit, again and again.
I strongly recommend this book to anyone considering starting a business in this field.
