If you build an internet business, you quickly realise that Google is of essential importance to your business strategy. So books about how to work with Google to increase your success on-line are welcome !

The book offered some interesting insights but I became frustrated with the focus on USA business (many of the companies referred to only deliver their services in the USA).

I also sensed that he author's view of their target market was the bigger 'corporate' companies and I would have welcomed more focus on smaller companies - the ones that that don't have lots of staff to form project teams etc.

So, in summary, a useful book to increase your general Google knowledge but not the best if you are a small company in the UK trying to find short-cuts to on-line success.

Vanessa Vox describes clearly how to make use of data available to the public to build a business strategy. The second half about SEO might be a bit basic but I recon good enough for anyone who doesn't know the area to get a basic understanding.

All in all a fresh look at things + the book gives the 'Big Picture' and shows how to do marketing now.
