Born in the North West London suburb of Wembley in 1961, as a child, Mark Worrall was obsessed with prolific Chelsea striker Peter Osgood and musician Marc Bolan, fixations which often put him at odds with both parents and teachers alike. Though mainly associated with Chelsea Football Club, ('Over Land and Sea', 'One Man Went to Mow' and 'Chelsea here Chelsea there') Worrall has written on a wide range of subjects related to working class popular culture and has extended his literary activity into fiction ('Blue Murder') and screenplay ('My Father's Son') writing. He lives in the Surrey village of Cheam.
