On this CD you have songs from "The Student Prince",originally recorded in mono but reprocessed into fake stereo (duophonic).The quality of these mono recordings is basically very good,but purists usually do not like the fake stereo reprocessing,they prefer the untouched original mono sound.If you want a mono version it is available on Mario's "Original Album Classics" 5 CD box set.You also have songs from "The Desert Song",but this time in glorious high quality stereo,not bad at all for tracks over 50 years old.I suggest you try listening to any available mp3 samples and judge the sound quality for yourself.I own this CD and am perfectly satisfied,so I can recommend it.CB
