Difficult to say. It's a synthetic version of B12. There are debates about whether or not synthetic B12 inhibits your bodies ability to inhabit natural B12. But whether or not this is true, I've found little information either way. Is it bioavailable though? Studies have shown the synthetic B12 to be more readily absorbed than the naturally occurring. Especially in older people, so either way your body won't have any problem taking it in. If you're worried about B12 deficiency, try a multivitamin. The ones I use have about 300% the RDA. :) Hope this helps!
