Easy to play for us older ones, bit like Asteroids of old. A quick game that dosn't tax the brain and kills some time.

Works well on kindle fire. Great addictive strategy game. I love it. Take over islands. Breed resources and compete against up to 4 computer players.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great but simple 17 July 2011

The game itself has a great concept and does take some strategy, but really its a pretty simple UI with less than stellar graphics. With some giant leaps in graphics and more challenging levels I can see this being a great game. For Strategy types I recomend Majestic and the now classic Age of Conquest: Europe

2.0 out of 5 stars Been done better before 17 July 2011

Sorry, but the developers were just too lazy to earn any praise on this one. This is a poor knock-off of the addictive Galcon, which has been on the iOS platform for at least two years. At least Galcon presented a fast-paced challenge that required some strategy. This game is slow and requires absolutely no strategy. You can't select your fleet sizes, there is only one difficulty level, and there is only one game-type.

I'm no programmer, but this took no effort at all. If you want to introduce this as a free version and add other features on later, that's fine, but this is barely even a game.

3.0 out of 5 stars Kinda fun, but not $3 fun. 17 July 2011

If you grabbed this for free, you paid about what it's worth. Game play is simple and multiplayer is enjoyable, but the game is sluggish and repetative enough to keep me from starting it up against the CPU. Despite the name, there is a noticeable lack of specialized finches.

2.0 out of 5 stars Can't move to SD 17 July 2011
By Ronin - Published on Amazon.com
It really doesn't matter how great or horrible an app is if you can't run it. Having the option to move the app to an SD card should be mandatory.
