On arrival in bookstores, Shackleton's Way jumped to the top of the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Business Week business best-seller lists. Today the book has sold over 300,000 copies and is available in ten languages.
Margot Morrell has worked in management consulting, executive search and financial services. She holds a degree in art history from Newton College of the Sacred Heart and a master's in library science from Simmons College.
Ms. Morrell has been profiled in The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, the Daily Telegraph, The Guardian and The Globe and Mail. As an authority on Shackleton's people-centered leadership strategies, she has appeared on the NBC Nightly News, CNBC's Power Lunch, A&E Biography, and on BBC radio.
Today Ms. Morrell speaks at business conferences and universities around the world on Shackleton's way of successfully leading through challenges and is looking forward to the publication of her next book, Reagan's Journey - Lessons from a Remarkable Career (Threshold Editions, May 2011). She lives in New York City.
