About the Author
Andrew Lambirth is art critic for The Spectator. He has also written for a range of publications including The Art Newspaper, Modern Painters, RA Magazine, The Independent and The Sunday Times. He has written extensively on twentieth-century British art, and his books include Roger Hilton, Kitaj, L.S.
