I purchased this knife to replace my 25yr old moulineux knife.I would not advise anyone to buy an ergonomical design were you hold the body because with the immense heat generated by this knife your hands become very slippery and hot,in fact i cannot believe how quickly it gets hot.during the carving of our turkey crown i had to let the knife stand for 25min to cool down to touch,it actually gets dangerously hot.the knifes cutting performance is not too good either it's very laboured from start.and it's not any better with the frozen blades.One other point is i cannot believe this is endorsed by MARCO PIERRE WHITE,he's not ever used being a chef and i think if he did he would not endorse it.so my new year resolution is to buy a decent manual carving knife and save electric and frustration.Quite amazing that 25yrs on and electric carving knife's are so badly designed and made.it's also very noisy buy some ear defenders
