I am very happy with this Beka product and 4 other copper bottomed stainless steel cookware pots & pans of the Marco Pierre White collection; you will see this review on the other items I bought as well. They are beautiful mounted on my kitchen wall and functionally divine.
Cooking with them is a joy. I cured them first with a bit of oil per instructions, and do periodically.
I find that cleaning is easy if:
1) you allow them to cool to room temp first (per instructions).
2) soak the pan in water before wiping out and gently scrubbing with a plastic scrubber (no steel wool).
Immediately one becomes aware that they are HEAVY. This is OK for me, but my wife has some difficulty handling them and her aged mother refuses to try. The 24cm Casserole I was able to weigh on our bath scale at 3.1 kilos (without lid)!
The weight is bad for those not equipped to handle it though good for heat capacity and durability. One result of the weight is that contrary to instructions, my wife will scrape the bottom on the stove rather than lift it and the pan will go uncleaned between uses resulting in spotting.
But I think these will serve us well and are the best I was able to find at the price. I plan to buy more.
