1.0 out of 5 stars Dissapointed, 27 Dec 2008

Bought this for our 2 1/2 year old and her brother who's 4 1/2 thinking Luke could build it for Jessy. It's hopeless, the peices don't stay together. Once eventually assembled it is very fragile and there is no way Luke would rebuild it on his own (which was the idea). Having assembled several marbel runs I am very dissappointed with this make, anyone want it as it's back in the box!

5.0 out of 5 stars As fun as Legos!, 22 Nov 2008

Oh, the memories of playing with this as a kid at a friend's place. I enjoyed building stuff with Legos immensely, but this toy had the advantage that you would actually "test" your construction. Even if more restrictive than Legos, it might very well be more educational and challenging than those because you were forced to ensure the integrity of the construction, plus you wanted to consider motion physics in order to come up with something fluid to have something cool to show to grown ups. Anyway, maybe my memory is fading and I'm looking back too much with "pink glasses", but it sure is a fun toy that I'm sure any kid that likes Legos will enjoy.

(Sorry if I write like a child. English is not my mother language. ;P)

5.0 out of 5 stars A great success!, 25 April 2009
Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this for my 5 year-old son for Christmas - was an immediate and enduring success (he told me to write this review!) We had friends staying over for Xmas ages 1 to 9 and EVERYBODY loved the game (even the adults took it out to play after the kids were in bed!). It teaches modelling and building skills and my son loved creating different mazes. It is game that can be played in a group but there is no winner or loser so no tears. This is one of the most successful toys I have bought. As for the one star rating, I do think a 2 and 4 year old would have trouble assembling and entertaining themselves with this toy but a 2 year old would definitely like watching the marbles run the maze if built by someone older. A 4 year old would need direction. My 4 yr old daughter and 5 yr old son entertain themselves ENDLESSLY with this - this is months after Xmas.
