The part consists solves in Maple environment the physical and engineering problems from such fields as: thermal conductivity, mechanics of deformable bodies, theory of elasticity, hydrodynamics, hydromechanics, etc.

About the Author

Professor V.Z. Aladjev was born on June 14, 1942 in the town Grodno (Byelorussia). Now, he is the First vice-president of the International Academy of Noosphere and the president of Tallinn Research Group, whose scientific results have received international recognition, first, in the field of mathematical theory of Cellular Automata (CA). He is member of a series of Russian and International Academies.

V.Z. Aladjev is the author of more than 350 scientific publications, including 65 books, published in many countries. He participates as a member of the organizing committee and/or a guest lecturer in many international scientific forums in mathematics and cybernetics.

Professor M.A. Bogdevicius was born on January 2, 1958 in the Vilnius (Lithuania). Since 1995 M.A. Bogdevicius is the Head of the Department of Transport Technological Equipment of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. He is member of the International Academy of Noosphere.

M.A. Bogdevicius has published more than 180 scientific and technical works; he is the author of 6 books and 25 inventions. M.A. Bogdevicius's interests include such topics as: computation methods, methods of optimization, dynamics of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, problem of safety of road motion as well as software for the solution of different technical and manufacturing problems.
