OK for driving but less suitable for walking. The s/w showed few restaurants, as we walked by many that weren't listed. I was using a Garmin Nuvi 750 and a Colorado 400t so not exactly poor or unsuitable equipment. Still, better than a paper map and relatively cheap, and Amazon delivered it quickly at a modest cost to our hotel when we realized we had left the card we purchased last year behind at home! Would have loved the s/w card for the Cotswold Way with OS mapping but those are outrageously pricey.
Purchased uk maps for a Garmin sat nav bought in the states last year, arrived within a couple of days & worked as soon as sd card put into unit.
Does what it says on the box. Shove the chip in the slot, and it's instant.
Even so, the up-date doesn't cope with long-standing road works -- for one obvious example, the on-going A1(M) in North Yorkshire, which is going to be with us a while yet.
The firm nannying of "English Annie" took us through the Sperrins in mid-Ulster, via a series of very minor roads, with no qualms.
