From the Publisher
This new book is an introductory text (students start their studies by learning palpation skills) and concentrates on visual presentation with minimal (but essential) text. The accent will be on the practical application of palpation skills, showing the student exactly how to approach palpation and explaining how the underlying anatomy should feel. The illustrations will indicate where the fingers should be placed and how to feel, as well as recognizing what is actually being felt. All students of chiropractic, osteopathy and other manipulative therapies (as well as medical students) have to be proficient at palpation, although the method of approach varies from discipline to discipline.
