Gail Reichlin is an internationally recognized and respected, dynamic keynote speaker with a unique interactive style. Well known for her wit and wisdom, she incorporates humor and real-life stories into her positive discipline presentations, offering parents and teachers better ways in which to communicate with children of all ages. Gail is a 42-year veteran preschool teacher and the founding executive director of The Parents Resource Network, a Chicago-based, non-profit organization providing parenting support and education for more than 27 years. She is a consultant to Sesame Workshop and an advisor to many other early childhood programs and projects. Gail is a freelance writer on family issues and the co-author of "The Pocket Parent," a popular guide with over 170,000 copies in print. Her practical advice is making its way around the world--having already been translated into 16 foreign languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Serbian, Russian, Hungarian, 3 Chinese dialects, Indonesian, Czechoslovakian, Korean, Polish, Romanian, Croatian and Turkish. Gail appears frequently on TV, radio, and in print and has been interviewed by Deborah Norville for The Sunday Today Show. Redbook, Parenting Magazine, Scholastic's Parent and Child and many more have featured her practical parenting tips and philosophy. Gail was also selected as a national spokesperson for Procter and Gamble's Pampers Institute. She, along with actress Marlee Matlin, endorsed an innovative potty training kit at the Toddler National Convention in New York City. Gail continues to engage countless parents and teachers across the country at her frequent workshops and presentations. She lives in the Chicago area and is the proud mother of 3 grown children...and the adoring grandmother of 7-year-old Noah and 4 1/2-year-old Talia.
