5.0 out of 5 stars Really helpful. 28 Jun 2013
Format:Misc. Supplies|Verified Purchase
The format of one point per card is fantastic! You can easily browse through the acupuncture points and all the necessary information about localisation and clinical usage is readily available. Very helpful for the beginner, but maybe even more for an intermediate student (like myself) who tries to understand the more advanced acupuncture treatment formulas using some less commonly used points. I recommend this book in this particular format for every student, great investment!

I love these cards as am currently studying chinese medicine and find them so handy when you need to locate a point quickly. The book is good, but not portable although i did buy both.

4.0 out of 5 stars very useful 15 Jun 2012
Format:Misc. Supplies|Verified Purchase
using these to get my 3 ways of locating points, only some of these cards do not have 3 ways!!! so using alongside college notes and a good point atlas which gives me a good overall view and good practice to read things in different ways. These cards are very expensive but i am glad i got them as they will be useful for a long time...even when qualified, but still wish they were a bit cheaper.

3.0 out of 5 stars There are missing information 1 July 2012
By Jose Joacir dos santos - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Misc. Supplies|Verified Purchase
It is a great idea, a very nice job. But, there are no numbers on the pages. You have to do it by yourself. If not, you get lost when you use the cards. If you misplace one, goodbye. The points in the cards also have no numbers and names. So, it is for very experienced professional who knows every point by memory. If you know all by memory, you dont need to by that. The publisher sould think about that.

1.0 out of 5 stars Missing Cards (Kidney Channel) 29 Aug 2012
By Joe - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Misc. Supplies|Verified Purchase
I have been going through the deck of cards, learning the points in order, and just discovered that some of the cards for the Kidney channel were missing from my set. (I need to check all of the channels, now.) I will try to get the cards replaced by the publisher. I'll keep you posted if the publisher/seller sends me the cards that were missing from the deck.

2.0 out of 5 stars Should have gotten the book instead. 26 Feb 2013

Not a good buy. The cards have a fraction of the information as the book. Spend the extra $$ and get the book instead!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Necessary. 26 July 2012

I have the older set. I don't feel that these were very necessary. You should always try to make your own.
4.0 out of 5 stars Flashcards 25 April 2014
By nickimeowmeow - Published on Amazon.com

The cards are still thorough but condensed version of the Deadman Manual of Acupuncture book. Very practical for TCM students. HOWEVER, price wise, the app is the same "condensed" info from the cards but for a fraction of the price. I do find myself using both the iPad app and the cards for studying though.
