This is a nice solid clock. A good bit of weight to it which I find helps on a mantle piece. The body and stand are solid metal, the mechanism is typical modern clock design.
Works fine, quite quiet. I use it in the bathroom so I'm not too late for work! So I don't have to worry about the clock being out.
It is described as a "modern" design. However, it doesn't look too out of place in our Victorian bathroom.
