THE NO. 1 BESTSELLER

Nigel Mansell is one of motor racing's all-time greats. An ordinary bloke who took on the best and most ruthless drivers in the world's most glamorous sport and won; the epitome of speed, daring and sheer bloody determination.

His refusal to be beaten endeared him to millions, but few inside the sport or outside it have fully understood what motivates him in his quest to be number one. Here, for the first time Nigel reveals the secrets of his driving technique, his hunger for racing and the psychological approach that helped him outwit legends like Niki Lauda, Nelson Piquet, Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna.

This new edition of his bestselling autobiography is an absorbing account of one man's rollercoaster ride to the top.

"The pick of the Formula 1 books; meticulously researched and cleverly written."

An excellent account of a remarkable racing career. Where most race driver biographies tend to be result records with the odd personal comment, this book generously reflects Nigels personal thoughts and values. His relations with team mates and team managers are described very personally and with much emotion. The book als covers more than just the racing (golf, karate) which could be a bad thing. In this book, however, it just adds beautifully to the image the is created of a great driver.
I am really no great fan of Nigel's but after reading this book, my admiration and respect for him has skyrocketed.

A truly inspirational account of self belief, determination and commitment.

Whether you are a fan of 'Our Nige'or not, after reading this you will have to agree that he more than deserved to win the F1 World Championship in '92.

Now stop wasting your time reading this and read the book !.

Five stars, because Nigel Mansell is my all-time favourite racing driver. The book is a nice look inside the life of this man, who gave us phantastic races (remember Silverstone 1987). The lion, as he is called not only in Italy, has also written "Driven to Win", a second book not to be missed by his true followers.
