5.0 out of 5 stars A FILM WITH SOME REAL BRIT GRIT 28 Sep 2006
Finally a British movie that isnt scared to wear it's heart on it's sleeve. A unique insight into a world gone mad on the streets of Scotland.

A tough story that is delivered in a raw and honest fashion without the frilly bits. A blast from the past that reminded me of how are British films used to look in the days of Scum, Just A Boy's Game and Quadraphenia.

Refreshing to see a film that simply tells it the way it is.

I seen this film on Television meny years ago, and a good UK film for anyones collection.

A Great film that comes accross to you in a realistic form no frills or illusionary format' gives it to you straight, almost as you are there looking in on the events almost a part of the events. Also almost documentary feel to it, and I like this film and its a good Uk film product:

Its about youth on the rough streets of scotland. four youths are friends and drift towards the dark side or underworld figures in the local area, the story gravitates around one of the youths and seems to point too or suggest' how people can be sucked into gangland life styles due to inluences of the ghetto related to poverty or deprived areas related live's they are living.......

It is about a dad a son and his friends and the bad influences a society infested with crime, and a decision to break the cycle..... this film I would recommend to anyone to wacth it would prick the awairness to be mindfull and watchfull as to were life could easily lead" .... would be good film for a school teaching session/class to watch along with the sex education schools tend to value.

did not cost much @Amazon uk so well worth the buy.
