Really good if you are at beginner level, as I am, but want to make interesting things and branch out from the 'How many different scarves can I make and has EVERYONE been given one for Christmas?' conundrum. Even if you don't knit, buy it for the photos. Iz x

This book will appeal to folks looking for the impractical, quirky, and silly. It is just a few Instructables taken from the web site and collected as a "book." The patterns include knit mustaches and a hat with a beard attached. It should be called "hipster knits." I don't know what is so manly about earbud replacement covers or a unisex scarf. The skully hat from the cover is also included, as well as a baby hat with space invaders on it, fingerless gloves, a knitted eyeball, and a Steve Zissou hat. No, there is no rhyme or reason to these patterns but the instructions make sense and the projects are unique. Basic knitting instructions, as well as chain knitting by hand (although it doesn't give you any projects to actually make with chain knitting), and instructions on how to make a hat with a knitting loom are included as well. I think folks who are familiar with the Instructables web site will appreciate this more than those who aren't.

I found this while looking up patterns my boyfriend would like to have or knit himself. This book is poorly laid out with blurry and, at times, excessive and off-topic photos. I was drawn in by the cover, but the inside it truly nothing like it.

This has got to be the WORST book in knitting history! Thank god it was free, I looked through every page and every pattern seemed dumber than the next. I would not recommend this book to anyone and I think it lacks the usual good quality that Amazon delivers. 1st product I have ever disliked from Amazon.
