Product Description

Product Description

Founded in 1977, Tabu Records gave the world hugely successful acts like Alexander O’Neal, Cherrelle, The S.O.S. Band and Brainstorm. Produced by Brainstorm’s Jerry Peters, Brazilian legend Manfredo Fest’s sole album for Tabu (1979) is a late 70s jazz rock keyboard classic. On a melange of originals, Broadway show tunes and Bach, Fest is aided by guitar legends Lee Ritenour and Jay Graydon, trumpeter Jerry Hey and many other top session musicians of the era. This edition features newly-authored notes by Scott Galloway, based on a new interview with Jerry Peters.
