Newly redesigned, the 190XDB is lighter in weight and slightly more compact. It has an ergonomic leg angle release mechanism and the wing locking knobs. This 3-way aluminium head is designed to allow still photography or video application. It is equipped with a quick-release 200PL camera plate system and Teflon pads to ensure smooth pan and tilt movements with independent locks. The pan-locking bar is padded with soft non-slip rubber.

I've been looking for a new tripod for about 3 months now and saw this one. I've looked at all the write ups and it does it with ease. I thought the legs might be a problem as they are not the quick release type but being the twist lock style they have been great. Its not the lightest of tripods but its very stable and can hold alot of weight.

This is my first tripod and needed a product that was easy to use. It does what it says on the tin, The extending legs slide out at the turn of the leg locks and are easy to adjust. You can pan and tilt the camera easily and the central column extended gives a great overall height. I didn't give this full marks as it doesn't have a built in spirit level (unlike my husbands £20 cheapy).

Great price for good solid tripod and head. Cheaper than buying the legs on their own. You can always upgrade the head later if you want. Highly recommended.
