Not a great to a say really. Very light, easy to use, stable, flexible and very well worth the money. Will come in very handy for my landscape (light, stable and quick to setup) and macro photography (center pole slides horizontally with a great deal of stability, giving me all sorts of crazy angles to shoot from).

I also purchase this with the R322RC2 ball head and together they make the only tripod kit I will ever need to purchase.

Couldn't really rate it more highly.

This was my first Manfrotto tripod, and I have been delighted with it.
It is very stable, easy to set up and not too heavy.
The build quality looks to be excellent.
I purchased the Manfrotto 322RC2 head at the same time, and I would certainly recommend this combination for landscape photography.
Not especially cheap, but probably well worth the extra money for the carbon fibre version.

Having 'made do' with various alu tripods over the years, and modified them to provide a spirit level, add leg-lagging, etc., at last I bought the real thing. Was already using Manfrotto heads. This tripod is ideal for me (early morning sunrises, panos etc). Think the Q90 facility will also help with some table-top stuff. And it's much more convenient to set-up and use!

If you're looking for a sturdy but light, 'I'm an enthusiast but it doesn't mean that I can't look like a professional', good value for money tripod, then this one's for you. Doesn't come with the head, but it has everything else you will need. Use it and abuse it weekly, and it's still perfect.

Verified Purchase
Bought this with the Manfrotto 322RC2 Heavy Duty Grip Ball Head without a question. Needless to say, I am VERY happy.

I am using a Lowepro Pro Runner 350AW Photo Backpack, and I can carry both of them without any problems. I have uploaded a picture for that (pending).
